AWS DevOps Engineer

Full-time · Rotterdam

A little background story

At Harborn, we manage over 150 digital products for our customers. This varies from wordpress websites with a relatively low complexity, to corporate websites in 7 different languages with thousands of visitors per day. And from customer portals for large corporations to workflow applications for start-ups that disrupt entire industries. They all have one thing in common, they expect their products to always be online, and performant. We strive for 100% uptime and the quickest response times possible.

Over the past years we have spent a lot of time developing a standardized and opinionated cloud platform that we have called the Port of Rotterdam. This in-house developed platform strives to be a ‘one size fits all’ solution for managing cloud workloads, offering the possibility to safely run Containers, Serverless Functions and all surrounding AWS Resources. We use the latest techniques, which means that our environment is fully capable of running all sorts of different workloads. From websites with huge amounts of varying traffic, to extremely secure environments for customers that require that extra bit of protection. Good monitoring and alerting helps us to act preventively whenever something requires our attention.

Harborn has been an AWS Partner for over five years. Currently active in the Software- and Services paths. Our partnership enables us to quickly get in touch with AWS Solution Architects whenever we have a detailed question, but also gives us the opportunity to become certified and specialized in the AWS Certification paths.
